Wild Rose  Refurbishing

I am writing this regarding Wild Refurbishing,. My name is deputy chief Tyler Helton with the McFarland Police Department in Kern County, CA. In January 2020 I was given the task of fleet manager. At the time our argument was operating 2010 Dodge Challengers that averaged 150k miles on them. With the maintenance cost rising and the fleet being in deplorable condition, I had concerns for our officers safety and wellbeing when operating these vehicles. I wanted to provide officers with safe and reliable vehicles. I researched new vehicles including pricing and availability. at the time a new police vehicle was costing over $80k per unit including lighting and equipment with an unforeseen delivery date.

I started reaching out to neighboring agencies in the county for  fleet options. I was given the name Seton Montgomerie at Wild Rose Refurbishing. Two neighboring agencies told me they had sent vehicles to Wild Rose and had them refurbished. They were really pleased w with Seton's work and advised me to call him. I reached out to Seton and explained my situation and deplorable fleet. Seton pout together a package for me including a purchase of 9 used Crown Victorias and 1 used Ford Explorer. Seton also advised if needed financing was available, I took the findings to my city manager and due to budgetary issues, financing was a better option for our city. I re-contacted Seton who was able to orchestrate the financing.

Seton was also able to install our emergency lighting and police equipment in our vehicles . This saved our department a tremendous amount and helped get the vehicles ready for use upon the delivery date,. Seton and the whole t=team at Wild Rose Refurbishing were extremely helpful and are dedicated to the law enforcement profession,.

Upon receipt of our vehicles, I received compliments from our officers on the condition of the vehicles and how nice they handled. Without the help of Seton and the folks at Wild Rose Refurbishing my officers would still driving the older fleet.
